According to the World Health Organization, 285 million people are visually impaired worldwide. We are currently losing a battle that we have the resources to conquer – 80% of all visual impairment can be avoided or cured.

This infographic provides quick, at-a-glance information about the damaging effects UV rays  have on our eyes. UV rays are a leading cause of visual impairment and disease, damaging skin and causing skin cancer, wrinkles and premature aging. An overwhelming 94% of the population is unaware of the threat UV rays present to their eyes.
